Review of our first week “back to school”.
It’s hard getting back to a schedule after having been off for so long. We did more school work this week than we had been, but didn’t get everything on our list done. The neighborhood kids are out of school for the summer and spend a lot of time here at our house so that is quite a distraction. I don’t want to deny my kids the chance to get to know the other kids in the neighborhood. Making friends is important too. Public schools will begin soon and there will no longer be this constant flow of traffic through the house. At that point I figure we can get going with out own plans more than we can now.
