Were moving right along with our spelling program. I am going through the book more quickly with my son than with the girls. The girls, as I have mentioned before, seem to require much more repetition when learning new skills. Once is all it takes for dear son and he has learned it.

What I have been doing with the girls is to work with each separately and we go through the day’s list of words first spelling each using our magnetic refrigerator letters. The next day I use the same list of words and have them spell the words in their notebook.

As part of the spelling program today my son spelled the word “beginning” correctly the very first try. I thought that was pretty good.
